It is fully understood that privacy of customers personal data files (photo, documents, emails or other) is paramount. Data Protection is fully complied with and all customers computers and data is treated with maximum confidentiallity during work carried out. Personal data and files are not viewed or worked with during the course of Home PC-FIX work unless specified by the customer or during the course of one-to-one tuition.
No copies or backups of the data are made unless the customer requires a Data Recovery service. In which case If data is backed up following data recovery it may be kept for a maximum of 30 days before being permanently destroyed using a military standard erasng technique. The same applies to old customer unwanted hard drives hich are wiped to military standard.
